What is the AYAC?

The Alaska Youth in Agriculture conference is a special activity for young Alaskans involved in agriculture in any form

  • Are you an Alaskan youth involved involved in agriculture?
  • Are you in grade 9-12?
  • Are you ready for a high power, motivational activity?
  • Are you interested in making a difference in your future?

    We have a planned an event to motivate, educate and entertain the minds of the students that make agriculture a reality in Alaska. The youth of Alaska are the future of Alaska and we encourage everyone that is a part of the fishing, foresty, agriculture, and natural resources of Alaska to participate. This is more than just a motivational speaker it is just for YOU.

  • Pre registration is required, please go to the registration page (updated soon) to reserve your place at the 2002 AYA conference.

What is Agriculture?

  • If you are employed, have a project, or are a student in any field of agriculture, natural resources, fisheries, forestry, horticulture, landscaping, animal science, equestrian, FFA, 4-H, Grange, Farm Bureau, Farmers Union, you are invited. If you compete in Rodeo, show turkeys, work on a fishing boat, you are invited.
This event is open to ALL students involved in agriculture. This event is to help build relationships between the students and organizations that make agriculture a possibility in Alaska.
   

This event is being held as part of the Alaska agricultural activities sponsored by the agricultural and natural resource related industries of Alaska.
